As a photographer deeply immersed in Romania's underground music scene, I had the privilege of documenting June Turns Black, an electronicore band from Bucharest known for their intense live performances and emotionally charged music. Formed by Rach Alaji (vocals), Dan Niculescu (guitar), Cezar Stamate (bass), and David Alin (drums), the band has garnered attention with their debut EP Wavebreaker, which explores themes of trauma, self-discovery, and emotional resilience.
Their performance at Rockstadt Club in Brașov was a testament to their dynamic stage presence, blending aggressive metalcore elements with electronic nuances. The atmosphere was charged with energy, and I aimed to capture the raw intensity and passion that define their shows.
